About International Planning & Research Corporation

Founded in 1978 by planners/researchers from Xerox, IPR is an international consulting firm that specializes in providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions for planning and research problems, ranging from the relatively straightforward to the most complex. We work with our clients to find and develop solutions to a wide range of market sizing and forecasting, opportunity analysis, and product design and pricing requirements. 

Our Staff and Locations
Our staff of professionals has a broad range of experience and qualifications. Our two largest offices are located just outside Boston and London, with satellite offices in other countries, including India. While the majority of our staff is located in Boston or London, our consultants are multinational and come from a number of countries, including China, France, India, Ireland, the Netherlands, Romania, Russia and Taiwan and they are able to bring their specialized local and regional knowledge to our engagements. 

Our Techniques
IPR’s experience has allowed us to develop a wide range of skills, tools, and techniques, many of which are proprietary. This includes our own software tools developed over the last three decades, which have solved our clients’ otherwise intractable planning and research problems. Working with major multinational corporations has enabled us to develop these tools and techniques to address a wide range of real-world problems.

We segment and customize each project to fit with the organizational, planning and marketing requirements of our clients. We often work to expand the client's in-house staff and skills in a cost-effective manner.
