Nancy J. Hopkins
Nancy Hopkins joined IPR in 2009 as part of the management team. In this role, she leads IPR's client professional services, as well as the development and delivery of strategic services for clients.
Prior to IPR, Nancy held senior level positions in corporate strategy, global business intelligence, corporate marketing and worldwide sales at IBM, EDS, GTE, Compaq and Silicon Graphics. As IBM's director of corporate strategy, Nancy created a corporate business intelligence division that was responsible for helping Louis V. Gerstner and the entire IBM organization transform IBM into a customer and market driven business and return to profitability. In addition to leading IBM's worldwide marketing intelligence and competitive intelligence functions, she developed a collaborative corporate strategy decision support system for senior executives, an integrated worldwide market opportunity and forecasting model to drive business decisions, and IBM.com.
Nancy earned a bachelor of arts with cum laude honors in Sociology from The University of Texas at Dallas. She is a graduate of Ty Boyd Excellence in Speaking Institute and serves as a Generations Center board of director in Dallas, Texas.
Outside of IPR, Nancy's primary activities include golf, snow skiing and writing. She is a former LPGA Futures Tour professional golfer, and treasures her time on the tour.
