Shane M. Townsend
Shane joined IPR in 2004 and works as part of the software team in Hayes. His main responsibilities are software development and providing support for IFW users. Before joining IPR he worked in dynamics research, software development, and signal processing.
Shane holds a primary degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a doctorate in Control and Dynamics, both obtained from Queen’s University Belfast. Outside of IPR, Shane turns off his PC and just chills out.
