Weizhong Liu
Wei joined IPR at the beginning of 2004. Since joining IPR, Wei’s main responsibilities include software design, implementation and maintenance. Before joining IPR, Wei worked as a research fellow and senior research fellow at various UK universities including the University of Birmingham, University of the West of England and the University of Portsmouth, specializing in data analysis, data mining, artificial intelligence and their applications. He also worked for a number of software companies as a software developer. Wei has a Master’s degree in artificial intelligence from the University of Essex and a PhD in data mining from the University of Birmingham.
Outside of IPR, Wei enjoys playing badminton, playing bridge and listening to music.
